    Mixed use of plural and singular followed by?

    What is appropriate in the following sentence? is or are?



    Two types of numerical simulation methods and a traditional statistical method is/are used.....


    Or is there an easy re-write to avoid this that I'm missing?

    Are is correct. "This and that are..."
