[General] reading a foreign essay

when a native english speaker to read essays that are wrote by foreigners, do you feel confuse, wred or other kinds of feelng?
no offences, just want to know the answer because when i read some eassays that wrote by foreigners the feel is so hard to explain. and can not understand.:?::up::up:

Everything depends upon the speaker's level of English. Some newer speakers can be difficult to understand, but I think that most people are willing to try a little harder to communicate clearly when they realize you are not a native English speaker.
