My grammar book says both of and from mean one's originality or where one's from, but how can you tell when to use of or from?
Does born from work in the second example? I guess not and I heard only "He is from a wealthy family". What do you think is the criteria?

ex)Where are those guys from?
He is born of(born from) a wealthy family.
