    past simple+this month

    Hello!

If I know that I won't go to Italy again this month, can I use the past simple in this sentence, even if the month isn't finished? :

"I went to Italy 3 times this month".

    Thank you

    Re: past simple+this month

If the month hasn't ended yet, I'd say 'I've been to Italy three times this month'.
