    He was a student and was treated as such?

    Among the ones below, why does only "such" work? Can you use as it or as that? "As it" sounds awkward, but I don't know it for sure.

    answers: it,one, that,such

    ex) He was a student and was treated as such.

    But, "He was a student and was treated as one" also works for me. I don't know why your book would give such as the only answer. Maybe someone else can explain.

    "He was a student and was treated as one" is fine.
