    remove obstacles

    Which of the following sentences are acceptable?

    (1) In order to perform the drama perfectly good, we removed all the possible obstacles.
    (2) In order to make the drama performance perfectly good, we had ruled out any possible obstacles.

    #1 is better than #2, but "good" is unnecessary.
