Hello:D

What is the meaning of "go after someone"?

ex) Hey, listen, Joey, about Molly, I really prefer if you didn't go after her.(source:friends)

I searched many dictionaries but it wasn't matched..
(go after - Idioms - by the Free Dictionary, Thesaurus and Encyclopedia.)

Hi there,

I think you should take this definition from your link:

go after somebody/something 1. to try to get or obtain someone or something.

It means the person who is talking to Joey doesn't want him to show any (romantic) interest in Molly.

Greetings,
