    meet one's halfway

Please check out the following sentences.

    (1) We had a serious dispute which caused an irreconcilable conflict among us.
    (2) Each of us stuck to her own view.

    (3) And no one consented to meet her halfway.

Ashiunto. It would be easier to deal with your questions if you used a larger font.

    Re: meet one's halfway

I've never heard or seen the expression "meet one's halfway" and I don't know what it could mean. The expression I know is "meet someone halfway" and I think this is the one you want.

    Re: meet one's halfway

Sorry, it's' my negligence. Now, I rewrite the sentences with larger font as following.

    (1) We had a serious dispute which caused an irreconcilable conflict among us.
    (2) Each of us stuck to her own view.
    (3) And no one consented to meet her halfway.
