    It means that you're sleeping with someone who can benefit your career by having influence with the "right" people or generally favor you in the workplace, possibly resulting in a premature promotion.

    If you are seeking to have a higher position in your job, then sleeping with someone can get you there as long as no one finds out. Of course there can always be consequences.
