    of the old days

    Are the following sentences acceptable?

    (1) After our dispute was settled, I feel like the sun is shining in my world.
    (2) Now, we have returned to the laughter and joy of the old days.
    (3) We are as happy as before.

    I'm not a teacher, but I write for a living. Please don't ask me about 2nd conditionals, but I'm a safe bet for what reads well in (American) English.
