Yes, you can have a "home office", you can also have a "study". We don't usually call it a "study room."

In the US a "boiler" is used to create hot water for heating. The device which creates hot water for bathing and household use is called a "water heater."

The exhaust fan would be called a hood or a range hood. (The combination of oven and stove-top burners is called a range.)

We would call the lights fluorescent bulbs or tubes.

I've never heard it called that.

We have an extractor fan in the wall of our bathroom to take the steam outside.

Exhaust fan is a standard phrase here.

(extractor fan sounds funny to me) :-D

It's commonly called an exhaust fan in India too.
