    Make sense?

    I'd like to know if the second of the two sentences below makes sense to you.

    "Exempt from Para. 2 are data that must be disclosed by reason of statutory provisions. In this case, X shall be informed thereof promptly."

    It seems to me that the second sentence should read something like, "If this occurs, X shall be informed thereof promptly." I may be overinterpreting, though.

    "In this case..." is fine in my opinion.
