don't live in a tiny bubble?

Is "bubble" a figurative meaning for "small things"

ex)I'm not suggesting that you have to watch the news contantly, but by reading, listening, and talking, we keep up with what's happening. Successful people don't get stuch by the unimportant details of their own lives, and they don't live in a tiny bubble. ....

Re: don't live in a tiny bubble?

It mean in isolation, in one's own little world. If you live in a bubble you may move through the world, but you don't really encounter it.

In this case, it means one lives in ignorance of current events.
