    time going

    I wonder if there is a subtle difference between "1" and "2".
    1. Time for school.
    2. You are going to school.

    There is a difference. And it's not subtle.

    ex.

    Time for school = time to go to school! Yay!

    You are going to school = I don't care what kind of excuses you come up with, you're going to school and that's that!

    Wowenglish, please remember that it's often very difficult to discuss differences between utterances without any context. You certainly know that a group of words may mean one thing in one situation and another thing in another situation. It's sometimes impossible to guess what situation the asker has in mind. If possible, try to explain what the context is.
