    "Exact" can be a synonym for "accurate."

    Accuracy is how close the arrows are to the target. How well you achieve your target. If you are trying to make a hole that is 12 mm in diameter, your accuracy defines how close to 12 mm each hole you drill is.

    Precision is how close the arrows are to each other. How well you repeat the same shot over and over. If you are drilling holes, it is how much the measurement varies from hole to hole.
