I am doing shopping.
I am going to shopping.

I am doing gardening. "doing" is not necessary.
I am doing shopping. "doing" is not necessary.
I am going to shopping. "to" is not necessary.
If you add "the" after "doing" in the first two, they are OK.

So I can say:

I am doing the gardening or I am gardening
I am doing the shopping or I am shopping
I am going shopping.

Am I right?

Thank you very much ^_^
