Im trying to think of a way to use curious of... and can't.
In dialogue. 'I'm curious, of course..." But that's cheating..
About is better.
I'm curious in regard to... works. Curious regarding the reason for .... *

Curious can mean "strange" or "unusual".

It's possible to say "How curious of him!"
