    chubby in a comb over?

    Melinda is trying to introuduce to her coworker her husband's coworker saying like this and Andrea reponds like "chubby in a comb over", what does it mean and also what is "code"?

    -ghost whisperer
    mel-Jim says he has a great personality.
    Andrea-
    Isn't that code for, like, "chubby in a comb over?"
    mel- Firemen are hot.

    It's her belief that "he has a great personality" is a roundabout way of saying that he isn't very good-looking. She imagines that he's probably chubby (round, plump, fat) and has a comb over (mostly bald with hair on the side grown long and combed over the top to cover the bald part.)

    Chubby = fat.
    comb over = almost bald, the hair is swept over the bald spot.

    If you say that a girl has a great personality, it is thought of as code for saying that she is not beautiful.
    Awesome!!! I completely understood this funny,funny expression!!! I appreciate it!!!
