    What does this expression means?

Oh, I'm so glad you're here! All that was missing to make the perfect was you!

So, I do not understand what it means, especially this construction.

    Someone could help me?

    Thanks!

    A word is missing.

To make the [day/party/picnic/event/dinner -- whatever, this is what is missing] perfect.

The day was almost perfect. It was missing one thing. It was missing you. All that was missing to make the day perfect was you.
I'm not a teacher, but I write for a living. Please don't ask me about 2nd conditionals, but I'm a safe bet for what reads well in (American) English.
