I'm wondering if there is any better way to say below sentence:

" I was so exhousted, so I couldn't watch my favorite show."

I'm also looking for an specific word which means"takes a long time"

For example:" I don't like this job because it takes a long time or I don't like this job beacause it's ..........." (the vocabulary I'm looking for it)

    NOT A TEACHER

    (1) I believe that native speakers prefer to say:

    so ... that ...

    (a) I was so exhausted that I couldn't watch my favorite TV show.

    (b) It was so hot that you could fry an egg on the sidewalk!!!

    (c) I am so hungry that I could eat a horse!!!

    Respectfully yours,

    James
