    Surgical knife

    A. The surgeon was so careless that he left a surgical knife in the patient's stomach after the operation had been done.

    B. The students want to help poor people in remote areas but they do not know where they can raise money.

Do these sentences make sense and have a conversational tone?

    Thank you so much
