    push for/ fund

    Dear teachers,

    Would you tell me whether I am right about my interpretation of the expressions in bold in the following sentence?

    Italy's foreign minister is pushing for the rebel funding.

    push for = insist/ urge on

    fund = finance

    V.

    Re: push for/ fund

    Pushing for means trying hard to get.

    Funding = finance.
