I find that I do that at least once a week.:oops:. I think it's one of the things that happens to some of us.

When I was a teacher trainer, I constantly had to point out to trainees that it probably wasn't a good idea to praise effusively a student who had just uttered a totally meaningless collection of words. Their defence was often, "Well, it was grammatically correct - that's what I was praising".
