    toward / towards

Astellas(company name) promises to perform its obligations toward all stakeholders

Kindly explain why 'toward' is use rather then towards, which according to me should have been used.

    Thanks

    Re: toward / towards

'Towards' is more common in BrE. I believe that 'toward' is more common in AmE.

So either of them is correct. In India we follow British English. Hence towards is correct
