    Lightbulb I am easy to...

Is it possible to use the construction
subjective personal pronoun + be + easy to + verb
with practically any verb that comes to my mind?
    For example: I'm easy to understand/scare/frighten/shout at/talk to/etc.
Or would it be more prudent to substitute this construction (when in doubt) with
It is easy to understand/scare/talk to me?

    Thanks.

My apologies, but could someone make a suggestion, please?

    Thanks.

I'd have to think it over before I endorsed your 'practically any', but I can't think of a counter-example off the top of my head.

Your 'it is easy....' alternative is also fine, but I wouldn't say it was an improvement. Another option (which appears chiefly with verbs of perception/apprehension... - some mental process) is 'I'm easily + ppl' - example 'I'm easily frightened' (but not 'I'm easily talked to').

PS Less than 23 hours makes your 2nd post seem a bit impatient; your 'bumping' this thread so soon might have the opposite effect from the one you want - some teachers are annoyed by this sort of nagging, and intentionally delay - or even withhold - a response. Remember that this is an international conference, and it takes a while for people to see new threads.

Thank you. I will take this into account.
