    Smile double-cake

    Hello.
    I'm wondering what 'double-cake' means.
I understand it's kind of a cake, but I don't know what kind of cake it is.
Here is a context from a picture book:

    A little boy said,
"I'll build a fort, put in provisions- sticks and string and double-cake."

    Please help!
    Thank you.

    Re: double-cake

He'd take twice as much cake as he's usually allowed to eat.
