    turn in at ...

    Hi

    A lady was talking to a man next to his house. After a few minutes:
    He turned in at his gate and she set out for
    home.

    Does it mean he turned towards his gate and walked home and she left as well?

    He was lready very close to his house. He turned, and went through his front gate, walking towards his house.
