    Paraphrasing

    To paraphrase this sentence 'Some students receive preferential treatment.' can I say that

    The university discrimintes positively towards some students.
    The university shows favoritism towards some students.
    The university treates students differently.

    #1 I don't think "discriminates" and "positively" are compatible in the same context.
    #2 I prefer this example.
    #3 I think this would require some additional explanation if stated in this way.
