    Do they have a sense?

Do these sentences have a sense? Could they have the same meaning?

    1) My enthusiasm slipped away little by little.
    2) My enthusiasm petered out little by little.
    3) My enthusiasm faded away little by little.

Any other verbs you can suggest here?

    Dear dilodi83,

I think the three verbs you used are fine. However, if I were you, I would use the present continuous tense.

    Sincerely yours,

    Jack

Only if the context made it appropriate.
