    What is a summit school?

How to understand the word "summit" in this context?

    Is it a specific name?

    Re: summit school

Well, it's from the book I read, it was the name of school "Summit School of (something)". I googled this name and found Summit Schools in different cities (rather American). Just wondering if it is some specific kind of school and where this name came from.

    Re: summit school

If it's the name of a school, its founder could have been Mr Summit, it could have been built on the top of a hill, its founder could have picked the name out of a hat, .... . There could be any number of reasons.
