I hope this is the correct place to seek advice on writing a professional letter.
I am planning on write a letter to a retail store proposing that I supply them a product to sell.
I was wondering what type of information should be included in a letter. Also would it be a proposal letter? Or use another format?

You need to describe your product if it is non-standard, suggest a purchase and selling price as a basis for negotiation, in what quantities you could supply it, and request a meeting with the store's buyer or manager disuss the matter further.
