    Post Hope to

    Greetings,

    Which one is correct?

1 - Hope to see you soon and have a good friendship with you.

2 - Hope to see you soon and to have a good friendship with you.

3 - Hope to see you soon and to be friend with you.

4 - Hope to see you soon and have a good friendship among us.

For information, the recipient has never met the sender before. Are the sentences above too formal?

    Thank you in advance.

    Re: Hope to

    NOT A TEACHER

I've never heard of such sentence. It sounds strange to me. Are you saying to goodbye to somebody who you intend to be friend with even though you have never met him/her?

If I were you, I would just say "hope to see you soon" and that should be good enough. You do not want your sentence to sound too forced because it is not natural.

    Re: Hope to

I'm sorry. I couldn't understand what do you mean? I'm a newbie. The sender never met the recipient before. He sent an email and got a reply. When he wanted to respond to the reply he intended to say that he is willing to see the recipient and to have a good relation with him. That's all. Thank you for your respond.
