Question:
Which sentence is correct?

Sentence1:
During the period from Jan 2005 to Jan 2008, I was a trainee at ABC Ltd.
Sentence2:
During the period between Jan 2005 and Jan 2008, I was a trainee at ABC Ltd.

Sentence2:
During the period between Jan 2005 and Jan 2008, I was a trainee at ABC Ltd.

Both are OK, but you could also delete both "from" and "between" in the respective sentences.

During the period is redundant in both. The first sentence in better.
