hi, What do you think about this conclusion?

Through my humble project, I have tried in the first part to define the film adaptation, to shed some light on its history, its types, its importance and its necessity in the cinematic field, afterward, I have also tried to show to what extent a film may be faithful to its original work, illustrating it with some attitudes about the fidelity of an adaptation. Moreover, I have tried to give some differences between cinema and literature, in addition to adaptation as a type of translation. In the second part I’ve tried to approach the novel; the life of George Orwell, the historical background of Animal Farm, its synopsis, its major themes, its characters and its point of view. After all others, in the third part, I shed some light on the differences between the novel Animal Farm and its movie, the awards and the technical effects of the movie including camera shots and angles. ***** NOT A TEACHER *****

Wow! You have done a great job. Believe me: there are many

(many!!!) young (and not so young) Americans who could not

write as well.

***

Hopefully, a teacher will give you a complete evaluation, along with

some recommendations.

***

I have only a few points. (Remember: you told me that you would

not be offended if I nitpicked.)

"Through my humble project, I ...." I suggest that you drop the

"humble." That word irritates a lot of people (I know from personal

experience). Of course, I understand that in your culture, it might

be a good idea to express humility. I was just thinking that "humble"

would not be a good idea for an American audience. Americans like

direct writing: In this project, I ....

The next point is really minor, but it means a lot to teachers. You need

a semicolon:

cinematic field; afterward(s), I have .... (Some Americans prefer an "s"

with "afterward.")

Sorry to nitpick!!! This time a colon is better:

To approach the novel: the life of George Orwell ....

"After all others" is not needed. Just write:

Finally, I shed some light ....

And just one more nitpicking point: a comma in

...the movie, including camera shots and angles.

Sincerely,

James

The nitpicker is back!!!

I know that you really want to know this:

Your help is highly ....

Your country is very nice; May I borrow your cellphone; What is

your middle name? etc.

You're (you + are):

Hey, James. You're an old man!; I think that you're a great student;

You're a usingenglish. com fan, aren't you? etc.

NOTE: Many native speakers also get confused. Don't feel bad. But

if you make this mistake in business letters, you will make a bad

impression on people. I want you to be a great success in life.

It seems that your project is very interesting:up:, I have a question if you have no objection and since you are a student in the English department, so, in the "literature" project are students required to choose a book to analyze it?

Salam, how are you doing? Thank you. In fact, it depends on your supervisor, they may ask you either to analyse a specific book or to personally choose one.
