What's A... malevolent spirit or two between friends?

Mel is waiting for a ghost to appear with her husband in her antique store, worrying the ghost might freak her coworker Andrea, so she says like this and Andrea said the underlined. What is "spirit of two between friends"?
The translation goes "I will be here holding my breath between my friends and the ghost", but I can't never get it.

    -ghost whis.
Mel- Do you want us to go? Caus I don't wanna freak you out
Andrea- No. Of course not. What's A... malevolent spirit or two between friends, right?

Re: What's A... malevolent spirit or two between friends?

It means approximately: As we are friends, the presence of one or two malevolent spirits is not going to cause any problems.

'What's a XXX between friends' can be used with the sense of 'XXX can often cause problems for people, but nor for us, because we are friends'. It can also be used sarcastically when XXX is causing a problem. Only context and tone of voice can make the meaning clear.
