    "moving"

    ]Dear all,

In the following context, I can't get the relation between "moving" and "piano":
A: When are you, when are you leaving?

B: <laughs> Not soon enough for you, I'm sure. <laughs>
A: <laughs> No, no, no. I, I-- Are you kidding me? <stutters> You know, I love moving. Pianos are my specialty.
    B: <chuckles> Thanks. I needed that.
    A:I'm not kidding.

B is a girl whose twin died recently and A is the latter's Dr. or "death examiner" A went with B to the sister's apartment to get her stuff.

I can't get what "piano" has anything to do with anything. He says "I like moving", then "piano is my specialty"? I couldn't get that.

    Thanks.

When moving house, one of the most difficult items of furniture to move is a piano due to the weight, shape and value! I don't know if one of the people in the book/story has a piano in the house which will need moving when they leave.

I would guess that the person has moved house several times, or has helped others to do so, and is particularly good at moving pianos.

    Re: "moving"

If this person is "moving" that means going to live in a new house/apartment/whatever. Moving a piano is a particularly cumbersome and unpleasant activity.

Wow! I couldn't get that on my own. It's so clear now. Thanks
