    Said it...

    Hello you all,

I would like your help in relation with a sentence about which I am not certain:

I really like painting. Said it that way, you would be tempted to think I am an artist, but, on the contrary, I am just an amateur.

My question is about the words in bold. Are they properly used? Have they got any sense at all? In case you disagree, would you, please, give me an alternative way of saying it?

    Thank you for your help

    Re: Said it...

Instead of Said it, just use Said.

The rest of the sentence doesn't read well. I'd be tempted to think you were an amateur artist.

    Rover.
