    division

    The "division" in the following is confusing.

    Name the informal divisions that shape actual company policies and operations. Devise strategies to connect across the divisions.

    Does this refer to in the context "departments of an organization," or "disagreement or difference"?

    It probably means departments, but it is ambiguous.
