We know that YET is used in negative and interrogative sentences. ALREADY and STILL are mainly used in affirmative ones and both of them go in mid-position.
My question is the following: where does STILL go when used in a negative sentence?
E.g.- I still haven't thought about it
I have still not thought about it.
Is it correctly used?
Not a teacher
The position of "still" also depends on what is being modified in terms of continuity. Look at the following examples:
I am not still sleeping = I am not continuing to be asleep.
I am still not sleeping = I continue to be awake.
I hope it helps
