Hi!

I will appreciate all replies to some of my grammatical quandaries:
- what's the name of this grammar category - example: They do have... When it is used?

Thanks

Hi and welcome to Using English.

Emphatic. It's used to be very clear that something is true.
A: They don't have any bananas at the store.
B: Yes, they do.
A: No, they don't. I looked.
B: I assure you, they DO have bananas at the store.

Hi -
Definitely, post one topic per thread. Otherwise, it's gets crazy trying to figure out which post is responding to which response to which question.

Here is a link to a resource on the in to/on to issue: Purdue OWL: Prepositions

Into/onto will include a sense of motion/movement.

That's what I'm gonna do.

We also try to avoid words like "gonna" here. Please, write "going to". We try to stick to standard English. (At least on the Ask a Teacher forum.)
