    A regional superpower

Please, check if the passage below is grammatically correct. Thanks!

In addition to his capabilities, Erdogan was lucky. First, he was able to politically stabilize his country in an unprecedented manner. From a weak country, having its governments replaced every few months, Turkey has turned into a state that has a strong and stable government. Second, Erdogan succeeded in leading the country towards economic prosperity which has made Turkey the world's 17th greatest economic power and the last word about that hasn't yet been said. And finally, he turned Turkey into a regional superpower respected and regarded by everyone.

In addition to his capabilities As well as being very capable, Erdogan was lucky. First, he was able to politically stabilize his country in an unprecedented manner. From a weak country, having its government (singular) replaced every few months, Turkey has turned into a state that has a strong and stable government. Second, Erdogan succeeded in leading the country towards economic prosperity which has made Turkey the world's 17th greatest economic power and the last word about that hasn't yet been said. And finally, he turned Turkey into a regional superpower respected and well-regarded by everyone.
My (few) amendments are shown above.
