    boost one's self-confident

Please check out the following sentences. Are they acceptable?

    (1) Cosmetic surgery is the lastest trend that arose from the advancement in medical technology.
    (2) To have a face of an Angel and the body of the Devil is no longer a dream. Plus a successful surgery can boost one's self-confident as well.

Why would one want to have the body of the devil?

Oh, I don't know - if it looked like this, many people wouldn't complain!

    Re: boost one's self-confident

Good lord, but this discussion degenerated quickly.

Don't capitalize angel or devil, and don't use both Plus and as well. One or the other, not both.
I'm not a teacher, but I write for a living. Please don't ask me about 2nd conditionals, but I'm a safe bet for what reads well in (American) English.
