    far more hygienic ...

    Hi

Miss Benson wanted to do a make-up for another woman.

Now, just for fun,’ Miss Benson said, ‘let me try my
hand on you. Look, everything straight from the shop, in
case you’re fussy. Far more hygienic than if you went for
    a facial, however high-class . .
. Just sit down and let me
play around for a bit. If you don’t like it, you can wash it
    all off again.’

I'm not sure what this woman means by saying: Far more hygienic than if you went for a facial, however high-class . . .

The key is the "everything straight from the shop" bit. She is saying she has new, untouched makeup items. As opposed to a big jar used in a beauty shop which may have contamination from multiple people using it.

So "however high-class" refers to high-class beauty shop?
