didn't do a good job on her

    Hi

Two women are talking about a certain lady who was seriously ill.
One says that they called in a doctor but he didn't do a good job on her.

Does it mean he didn't help her much?

Without further context, that's what I would surmise.

Re: didn't do a good job on her

I am not a teacher nor a native speaker.

    Hello.

When I first saw this 'he didn't do a good job on her' I thought of a sexual intercourse and had you not introduced the context, I would have got it this way. Quite funny
It is interesting was there some piece of truth in my words or not? I hope to hear some answers from teachers.

    Thanks, Alex.

Yours is a possible intepretation, but highly unlikely - unless we are disussing Carry On (film series) - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia.
