    Wembley winner of Manchester United

    Dear all,

What is the meaning of "
Wembley winner of Manchester United" in:

"After a slow start, the appointment of Joe Royle turned out into the teamís fortunes, and a memorable FA cup run, which climaxed with a Wembley winner of Manchester United."

I know that Wembley is a stadium.

So the sentence mean that Joe brings luck to the team and... I don't know what do the words between the parenthesis refer to , and ...

I got that "Joe's team won Manchester united on Wembley"!! what about "of"?

    Thanks.

Joe Royle managed the team that beat Manchester United in 1995:

winner of doesn't work for me. How about something like beating Manchester United at Wembley/victory at Wembley over Manchester United?
