I am one of those studying english

I've got a question

what is the difference between distinguish and tell apart?

and 'distinguish' is the common word?

unless it is, what words are normally used instead 'distinguish'??

thank you for ur help

They often mean the same thing.
What's the context? If it's something like "Can you distinguish red from green?" then you can say "Can you tell red and green apart."
Yes, it's a common word.

Welcome to the forum, xiet.

Please give your threads more meaningful titles that tell us what they are about.

A good title for this one would have been Distinguish / tell apart.

'Do me a favour' has nothing to do with your question.

Please write your instead of ur, which is not an English word.
