    daring sb's rage

    Hi

One woman told another that her sister writes to her letters even though her father didn't allow her to do it. He was angry at her.

The other woman thought to herself that a sister was one who would stick to you
through thick and thin, daring even a fatherís rage ...

Does it mean she would never leave you (her sister) paying no attention to her father's rage?

: - but a bit more than that: knowing that he would be angry, but still being prepared to take the risk.

    Re: daring sb's rage

May I ask you my small question here?

One woman told another that her sister writes to her letters.

Is it possible that her here can either refer to "one women" or to "another"?

    Thanks.
