I looked up the words "cleat" and "groin" but I don't exactly understand what is meant here. It doesn't appear the be an expression.I'm sorry, I'm terminally hung over and I just took a cleat in the groin.
Does this mean that he was hit in the groin with cleats (a certain type of shoes)?
Thanks. The quote was from an episode of Two and a half men. I rewatched a part of the episode and the kicking bit is in fact depicted. I didn't notice it at first.
