    Pushing it ?

I heard someone saying something like

"It was great..... Ok~ great maybe pushing it but ~~~~~ blah blah blah"

I sort of get what it means but how exactly does it mean?

and could you give me some other examples of using it?

    Many thanks

    Re: Pushing it ?

The speaker probably means that the word 'great' was an exaggeration.

It would help if you gave a little more context than 'blah blah blah'.
