This was my last grammar exam, perhaps I may not validate it, because I did not have enough time to concentrate very well as I had to make an analyze about pride and prejudice, so I want to know my mistakes to avoid falling in the same next exam.

In 1984 the Rosemary Hills train station was built by Sean Carlton and his wife Sharon. Red brick was imported from England by the Carltons for the construction of the waiting room . In 1986, the station was opened by the President himself, that year, Rosemary Hills was visited by a steam locomotive for the first time. Clouds of white smoke were being pumped, its whistling loudly could be heard by all the townspeople.

If he took had taken an aspirin, he would not have a headache.

I thought that it is conditional type II, which we use it to talk about a present situation which is impossible , so, the condition cannot be fulfilled.

That is a very fair point. It assumes that the person answering the questions already knows these snippets of general knowledge.
